A Face To Call Home

'Little by little, inch by inch
We built a yard with a garden in the middle of it
It ain't much but it's a start
You got me swaying right along to the song in your heart
And a face to call home
A face to call home
You got a face to call home.'

A song by John Mayer that I listen to whenever I'm homesick.

Silence

Within corners of every space, there lays silence. Day and night.

But when I have found the perfect spot,
I feel secure.

Buildings, city sights, the trees and the sky.

High Waters

Sydney, 2012

What I love about Sydney is that it's surrounded by bays and beaches. The sound of the waves, the bright sunlight and the ocean breeze. Lovely. (Although it was winter when I was there)

PS: Please ignore the different tones. I didn't retouch the tones at all. The scanner did.

Two Places

Nikon FM2 | Kodak Colorplus 200

St Paul's Cathedral, Melbourne and De Kerk van Onze Lieve Vrouwe ten Hemelopnemin Cathedral, Jakarta arranged alternately. Two different cities, two different churches: Anglican and Catholic. Oh, and two different lenses too. I used a 50mm f1.4 for Melbourne and a 50mm f1.8 for Jakarta. I bet you can tell the difference.
