The Pink Cap Project: Singapore

'The Pink Cap Project: Singapore' is a spontaneous project I did with my little sister Talula Fidelia on our end of year trip to Singapore. This project is just another way for me to share my travel diaries, having the pink cap as the datum.

At first I wanted to be able to have at least one photo in each significant tourist and attraction spots in Singapore. But well, we only had one day (the only day I spent entirely with her) so this is the most we could do. Enjoy!

Gunung Putri

It wasn't my first time to hike Gunung Putri. So we all knew what was ahead of us. But sadly there was no sunrise since the cloud was cloudy - that was the only downside. We left Ciumbuleuit around 11AM, hiked all the way to the forest until around 6PM (with breaks, of course). We camped, well sort of. I slept under a tree (no sleeping bags) on a trash bag I laid out on the muddy ground for only approximately one and a half hour - so that was an experience. I didn't really sleep since it was crazy cold. At 2AM we went up to the hill to see the sunrise that didn't show up. We reached the hill earlier, around 4AM so we got to see the entire Bandung lit up with its beautiful lights from above. It was breathtakingly beautiful (sadly I was too tired to even try to take out my camera). After 7AM, we went down and head straight back to campus. All is well.
